After-migration checklist

What to test once your website or email has moved to Webmart.

Run through this list once we confirm your migration is complete.

Website

  • Home page and main pages load correctly, including on a phone.
  • The padlock shows, and http:// redirects to https://. See Force HTTPS.
  • Contact forms send email, and the messages arrive.
  • You can log in to the website admin (e.g. WordPress).
  • Online shop: test an order and payment.

Email

  • Every user can log in to webmail.
  • Each user can send and receive, including to Gmail or Outlook.com addresses.
  • Old emails and folders are present.
  • Outlook and phones are set up with the new settings, and the old accounts removed.
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC are in place.

Account

  • Your domain shows in Domains → My Domains, with auto-renew on and registrar lock enabled.
  • Backups are running.
  • Only now, cancel your old provider’s services.
