Email server settings (IMAP, POP3 and SMTP)

The incoming and outgoing server details for setting up email on any app or device.

Use these settings in Outlook, Apple Mail, your phone’s mail app or any other email program. First check which email service you have.

Hosting email (cPanel)

Username	Your full email address, e.g. `[email protected]`
Incoming server (IMAP)	`mail.yourdomain.co.bw`, port `993`, SSL/TLS
Incoming server (POP3)	`mail.yourdomain.co.bw`, port `995`, SSL/TLS
Outgoing server (SMTP)	`mail.yourdomain.co.bw`, port `465`, SSL/TLS
Outgoing authentication	Required: same username and password as incoming
Webmail	`https://webmail.yourdomain.co.bw`

Replace yourdomain.co.bw with your own domain name.

Incoming server (IMAP)	`us2.imap.mailhostbox.com`, port `993`, SSL/TLS
Incoming server (POP3)	`us2.pop.mailhostbox.com`, port `995`, SSL/TLS
Outgoing server (SMTP)	`us2.smtp.mailhostbox.com`, port `587`, STARTTLS
Outgoing authentication	Required: same username and password as incoming
Webmail	`webmail.yourdomain.co.bw`

Incoming server (IMAP)	listed in your welcome email, port `993`, SSL/TLS
Incoming server (POP3)	listed in your welcome email, port `995`, SSL/TLS
Outgoing server (SMTP)	listed in your welcome email, port `587`, STARTTLS
Outgoing authentication	Required: same username and password as incoming
Webmail	listed in your welcome email

The username must be your full email address, not just the part before the @.
Outgoing server authentication must be switched on (“My outgoing server requires authentication”).
When copying a password, don’t copy the space at the start or end.
Check for typos in server names. smpt instead of smtp is a common one.
