Your backup options explained

Backups let you recover from mistakes, failed updates, hacking and accidental deletions. Webmart offers two levels of protection.

1. Hosting backups in cPanel (included)

Your web hosting is backed up automatically to secure cloud storage. From cPanel you can browse and restore your own:

• website files and folders,
• MySQL databases,
• email accounts and messages.

2. Website Backup & Monitoring (add-on)

A paid add-on for more control, which also works with websites hosted outside Webmart:

• Daily automatic backups of files and databases, plus on-demand backups.
• Change tracking: a daily email showing exactly which files were added, changed or deleted, which is an early warning of hacking.
• One-click restores of the whole site, or of individual files, from any date.
• Optional automatic WordPress plugin updates.
• Encrypted, off-server storage.
