Set up email in Outlook for Windows
Add your Webmart mailbox to Microsoft Outlook using IMAP.
These steps are for the Outlook desktop app on Windows (Microsoft 365, Outlook 2021, 2019 and 2016). Have your server settings ready.
- Open Outlook and go to File → Add Account. In the new Outlook, use Settings → Accounts → Add account.
- Enter your full email address, click Advanced options, tick Let me set up my account manually, and click Connect.
- Choose IMAP.
- Enter the incoming and outgoing settings: – Incoming mail: the IMAP server, port
993, encryption SSL/TLS. – Outgoing mail: the SMTP server, port465(SSL/TLS) for hosting email, or587(STARTTLS) for Business, Enterprise and Pro Mail. - Click Next, enter your email password, and click Connect.
- Click Done. Send yourself a test email.
If Outlook keeps asking for your password
- Make sure the username is your full email address.
- Check that outgoing server authentication is on: File → Account Settings → Server Settings → Outgoing mail → My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication, using the same settings as incoming.
- Remove the account completely and add it again. This fixes most stubborn Outlook problems.
- Check webmail works with the same password. If it doesn’t, reset the password.
