Set up email on iPhone or iPad

1. Open Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts. On older iOS versions, it’s Settings → Mail → Accounts.
2. Tap Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account.
3. Enter your name, full email address, password and a description (e.g. “Work”). Tap Next.
4. Choose IMAP at the top.
5. Fill in both sections using your server settings: – Incoming Mail Server: host name = IMAP server, user name = full email address, password – Outgoing Mail Server: host name = SMTP server, user name = full email address, password
6. Tap Next. iOS checks the settings, which can take a minute. Tap Save.

Check the ports

Go to Mail Accounts, tap the account, tap the email address, then Advanced and Outgoing Mail Server → SMTP. Make sure Use SSL is on, and the port is 465 (hosting email) or 587 (Business, Enterprise and Pro Mail).
