Renew your domain (and what happens if it expires)

Auto-renew, renewal invoices, expiry, grace periods and getting an expired domain back.

How renewal works

We create a renewal invoice before your domain’s expiry date and email it to you. Once it’s paid, the domain is renewed for another year. Your expiry date is shown in Domains → My Domains.

Renew early or manually

  1. Log in to the Client Area and go to Domains → My Domains.
  2. Tick the domain and click Renew, or open Domains → Renew Domains.
  3. Choose the renewal period, check out and pay.

Auto-renew

With auto-renew on, a renewal invoice is created automatically. To change it: Manage Domain → Auto Renew → Enable or Disable.

If your domain has expired, contact us as soon as possible. Tell us the domain name and we’ll check its status and what can be done.
