Change your domain’s nameservers

Nameservers decide which provider controls your domain’s DNS. You’d change them to:

• point a domain registered with us to hosting at another provider, or
• point it back to Webmart hosting.

Steps

1. Log in to the Client Area.
2. Go to Domains → My Domains.
3. Click the spanner icon, or choose Manage Domain from the menu next to the domain.
4. Click Nameservers in the menu on the left.
5. Choose: – Use default nameservers to point the domain to Webmart, or – Use custom nameservers and enter the nameservers your other provider gave you (at least two, e.g. ns1.otherhost.com and ns2.otherhost.com).
6. Click Change Nameservers.

The change can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
