Register a domain name

Search for and register a .co.bw or international domain, and what happens next.

Webmart is accredited by BOCRA, the .bw registry, to register .bw domains. We also register international domains such as .com, .org, .online and .store.

Register online

  1. Go to webmart.co.bw/domains and search for the name you want.
  2. If it’s available, click Add to Cart. If not, try a different spelling or extension.
  3. Add hosting or email now if you need it, or skip. You can add them later.
  4. Check out and pay. If you already have an account, log in first so the domain is added to it.

What happens next

  • International domains (e.g. .com) are usually active within minutes of payment.
  • .bw domains need to be activated: BOCRA emails the registrant a link to click. See Activate a new .co.bw domain.
  • Allow up to 24 hours for the domain to propagate before it works everywhere.

Choosing a good domain

  • Keep it short, easy to spell and easy to say over the phone.
  • Avoid hyphens and numbers where you can. They’re easy to get wrong.
  • Consider registering both .co.bw and .com to protect your name.
